    Cool Vintage Restore: Maher & Grosh 6/8... 1/2 Hollow Barber's Notch

    A truly great shaver this...incredibly smooth. A really nice etched ('THE TRUSTY RAZOR'), Maher & Grosh with original horn scales from around the early part of the 20th century I would guess. I did a vintage restore on this for a friend here at SRP. The blade was finished with a highly polished Crocus finish; horn scales restored and polished. The only thing not original are the pins and washers: pinned with 2 sizes (larger at the wedge end) of domed brass washers and pins.

    I think you should bring that one over and let me quality test it for customer satisfaction. I know it looks brand new and all but just in case :<0)
