That is NICE work! I would have been hesitant to bid on a blade that looked like that in the before pics. I want that razor in the 'after' pics though! I've been meaning to get a cork or eraser to use when I'm sanding. Impressive that all that was done without disassembling it. Do you just fold the sandpaper to sand the tang between the scales, or do you have something you wrap the paper around?
Heh, the sellers pics didn't show just how bad the blade was.
The tang was in great shape and needed little more than some polishing paste. It was the driftwood like scales and horrible scratches on the blade that needed the work, all of which I was able to manage without taking it apart.
It is difficult to believe what you have done. Certainly much time was spent. :tu
