Harmonie CLUB For Barbers Use in Jasmine
Fresh off the bench is this Harmonie CLUB Specialy For Barbers Use
15/16" full hollow FBU
the scales on it were not original & a fraction shallow for this blade
so I resulted it in Jasmine from my yard

Nice work. Are you sure these weren't original?

Yeah, a big razor in undersized scales is unsightly. The grain on that wood has a very tight, subtle look, well suited to scales. Quite beautiful, a great job.

Yeh hope they hold up as they only have a wax coating and no CA glue as I usually do for wood

Thanked: 636Beautiful. Is that a hardwood? Did you need to dry and stabilize it?

Well done.
Like the grain in the wood. Don't think I ever saw Jasmine used.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanks Mate ,
I would probably say a medium wood not as hard not as my Burdekin plum but harder than pine & the Oaks
it is from about a 3" branch from my Jasmine tree it has been drying for about a year at least
I didn't stabilize or CA coat it & went old school & only used wax so hopefully it will hold up if not it will be CA Coated & reinstatedSaved,
to shave another day.
