Smithville yet. Maybe a fun road trip with the missez. She wants to hit St Jacobs this month so maybe in the fall.
Thanks for the link.
very nice wood and work....what kind of lath is that a General?
which one??? :) I have 2. Gramps left me a Rockwell with a 37" bed and a 12" swing that is at my Dad's. I have these guys Jumbo Jaw Sets - Lee Valley Tools for my chuck and can only use them on the big lathe. They allow me to clean up the bottom and top of the pieces withougt marking anything. I also have a Delta midi lathe in the basement that I freaking love and is what I use for my brushes. That sucker is so smooth. Nice thing is both have the same spindle so I can use all my chucks, face plates, and Morse tapers on both.
Beautiful bowl!
Very well done, looks natural. :tu
