Wade & Butcher Wedge...
Just finished this vintage restore up for a friend... A Wade & Butcher 13/16 wedge. Blade finished with a Crocus polish and original scales and lead wedge. As typical of all W & B's this razor shaves 'Sheffield Smooth'...
Not much else to say about the Wade and Butcher's....they're just Great Razors!

Great job! Pity the etching had to go, but getting rid of the rust was more important.

The etching was pretty far gone anyway, but with the excessive hone wear on the edge and spine there was no way of saving even a part of it. Besides...NO ONE would ever know it was there to begin with once I finished it. The key is as you say Hirlau: another one back on the line. I just love the way these Sheffield wedges shave!
