Thanked: 13249Stubtail in Camel Bone
Early 1800's Stub-tail "Guarantee" Razor
Lightly buffed and put into custom Camel Bone scales, I gave them an aged look using Tea I was trying for a Reddish tint but didn't get too much of that.. but it sure brought of the figuring..
The scales are .105" thick and the Streaked Black Buffalo Horn wedge is .045" at the end
Had a little fun with the pins and outer washers,, Used a two tone look like I have seen on these originally.. A domed SS outer washer and Brass pins with Brass inner bearing washers
Honing Chosera 1-5-10 Coticule finish with crushed slurry

Very nice Glen ! The tea soak did give the scales a subtle aged look. I don't presume to know what effect you were shooting for but this old Barlow pocket knife with bone scales was dyed with Fienbings alcohol based leather dye in burgandy.

Ya take better photos of it than I sure didn't. You gave it such a noble look that I'm going to have to address it , "Sir", before I use it.
