Now that I look at this razor again, I don't think I've ever seen a JR without the Cutlers To Her Majesty on the tang. Maybe a rare bird?

Wow. Great work (as usual), Glen. I wish that one was mine.

In the mid 1800s there was a case of Joseph Rodgers vs. Nowill, where a John Rodgers & Sons mark came into question. I don't know the finer details without really digging into the court document (I don't currently have the time to) but I'm wondering if this is from the firm that Joseph Rodgers was attacking.

Also notice that most Rodgers with the trademark are stamped with Joseph and not J.

I received this razor on Saturday, and It is simply STUNNING! Thanks so much Glen, you are a true Craftsman.
