    Default Joseph Rodgers Jack knife

Because of all of you here I have RAD. This goes along well with my case of KAD (knives) and causes me to search out projects for both of my disorders on the bay and local flea markets.
I aquired a two blade Joseph Rodgers Jack knife from a friend who knows about my addiction, but it was in rough shape. The scales were cracked and there was serious rust and gunk all over the knife. Unfortunality, I didn't take a before picture...
Since the covers were shot, I decided to just take it completely apart to clean it up. While it was apart, I decided to just convert it to a single bladed knife and experiment with some different cover material- micarta with a g10 colored liner epoxied together. Yes, I know these are not era-correct covers but I wanted something unique!
I had to grind the spring and liners down to make everything flush because of losing the other blade/spring, and never could get the pivot pins to hide
However, I still think it turned out great! I made sure to carry it today and set out a Rodgers Wedge for my next shave

I just wanted to share. I tried to show my wife and she told me "how about you post some pictures on the forum thingy because they might care more than me" lol
