Glen does great work, but to answer your question: No he did not. That model came with the scalloped spine. It was available in 7/8 and 8/8.

Saves me the trouble of taking photos of it! I finally had to re-hone it just 3 weeks ago. Gave it a touch up after 3 years, used it for another year, and it got rotated out as I started selling off razors and needed my face for testing them! But I really missed it, so its back in the line up. For the record, the scales have developed a slight warp, and a crack at the wedge, which made me very very sad.
Here's one I did for Sharptonn, in bog oak

Very Nice Job Well Done,Ty
Nice work guys, seems like nobody likes the original scales on the Friodur, surprising that I don't see the inlay transferred from the original scales.
I like the original scales :)
Both are 8/8 friodur, one is minty the other is slightly used.

The original scales are fine if in good shape.
Seems those Japanese barbers tended to dunk the things scales and all into disinfectant.
They won't clean up after some of that!
I have had a few badly discolored and I am starting to decorate all of my long term residents in bone or carved bone scales. There may be some inlay transfers at some point in the not so distant future.
