No it is not Real Bone

A nice Ralf Aust rescale - No it is NOT Real Bone :p

Scales are Bone Linen Micarta at .095" thick it really came out looking like real Bone.
The Wedge is Copper Bronze Acrylic at .055" at the end.

All Brass hardware including the surprise inside for the 3rd pin..

I go to the "Bead Shows" and I am often the only man in the room hehehe but you can find all sorts of fun dodads there :p

Both aesthetics and practical looks nice also makes your scales more rigid also doubles up as a stop prevents the blade moving deeper into the scales.

I use to do the same thing in college. My best friend's girlfriend was an Aerobics instructor. I was the only dude at the classes. A lot of guys gave me crap about it...till they met the women I was dating from the classes!!!

The wood and horn scales are fine. I'm referring to the black plastic with the Solingen inlay on the side.
