    Cool No it is not Real Bone

    A nice Ralf Aust rescale - No it is NOT Real Bone

    Scales are Bone Linen Micarta at .095" thick it really came out looking like real Bone.
    The Wedge is Copper Bronze Acrylic at .055" at the end.

    All Brass hardware including the surprise inside for the 3rd pin..

    Nice! The third pin is a cool idea.

    The original plastic scales on Austs are not so hot.

    That looks great! It could easily pass for ivory or bone, I will have to add that my next scale material order. Where did you get the decorative 3rd pin?

    Very nice my friend, Very Nice!

    I'm not sure but that 3rd pin support might look 'vaguely' familiar? Maybe for Connor's Friodur? If my suspicions are correct it might answer Ernie's question here;

    He put one on my Friodur's third pin as well. Maybe he gets them from a leprechaun?

    Nice work on that re-scale, Glen!

    Looks lovely.
    What's the point of a 3rd pin?
    Aesthetics ?
