    Default My First W&B

This was my first W&B bought quite a while ago . I took out the pits, keeping most of the etching and I also sanded away the tang lines. woops .. You live n learn.
I then packed it away until recently.

A guy at work asked me for a vintage blade that he could gift to his father who used to be a barber.

He also didn't have much money to spend.

So I dug out this Bow razor.

I made the scales from a type of Ebony . Its a really tight wood and great to work with.
It was finished with True Oil and then some beeswax .

The wedge is cocobolo, lined with copper. Brass pins n washers .

    Honed up Nakayama progression .

    He was very pleased..
