An early Wostenholm
Received as just a well worn blade. The scales are copies of originals circa 1810 in honey horn. Straight, flat and a bevel all around and thin at .110. For those that have not made an early set of straight scales the depth you sink the blade into the scales must be considered to avoid the heel protruding below the scales. The near wedge blade now wears a thin even bevel with a glazed finish. A lead wedge and brass pins and collars holds it all together.
