    Nice, looking good. It's a great razor and worth the effort you put into it. I have a razor with what I think is that same material for scales, not sure what it is, feels like old plastic.

    Thanks for posting the picture! I think it looks great even with the pits. I always worry about going too far -- with a hollow grind seems like it would be so easy to chase pits right through to the other side...

    Going to far was exactly what I was worried about. Plus I would think that it could be very easy to make a slight warp or waves to the edge chasing the pits too. Then it would be harder to hone.

    As a noob taking a look at the before pic, my first thought was "bummer, lost cause". After looking at the finished pic my thought was "Wow, a miracle"
