    Default First Engraved Razor

It has been a while since I have been on the forums. I see there are new vendor rules. Since I can no longer post there, I guess I'll post already sold stuff here...

This summer, cutting off the end of my thumb slow things down a lot. This is my first razor since getting back to work, and my first ever engraved razor. The top of the blade is Damascus made from my home smelted steel (I call it Timahagane) and meteorite. The Timahagane is smelted from Lake Superior beach sand. The cutting edge is High Carbon Timahagane. The scales are mammoth ivory. David Riccardo has been a very patient engraving teacher. The blade is 6/8's, 1/2 hollow ground.

This razor is not for sale. It has a very happy home in Germany.
