Default "White wall" Popsicle Stick Scales!

There I was, thinning out a 1/4" thick piece of oak the other day, and I asked myself-- why not just use popsicle sticks? They are made out of birch, can be layered to a desirable thickness, can be sanded to a contour, and can be profiled in no time at all.

It took a little practice, but the tactic paid off. Here is a pitted kinfolks wedge dressed with "white wall" popsicle scales.
