Yes same here, I found mine a few weeks ago, some pitting, and again uneven strike of the stamp, with mine most of the top half is missing, I have decided to go with an ultra light restoration on mine, ie... I've only removed rust and left most of the pit marks and the original scales.
Ive always wanted a lightly restored razor for myself and I like the blade shape and styling so I had to keep it, good to hear when they shave well.
I will post pics when I have mine done, hoping this weekend, but I have a lot of DIY and other stuff to be done as well. :(

I find the vintage French blades to be very good looking blades, I should get me one someday, fineee blades, I guess they're great shavers as well
It didn't take me long to realise that when you see a picture of a razor on the back of that eagle that it is going to be a stunning restore. This one is no different absolutely breathtaking work.
