A French Blade
The Crown over IC was a trade mark of Roddier - Gauthier of Thiers, France 1858 - 1920. A distinctive blade shape in near wedge with a thumb notched tang. Restored in a glazed finish as the razor was originally. The original scales were copied in bone at .085 thickness, a black horn wedge and brass pins and collars. The blade stamp reads Vincent Garanti and was struck unevenly missing the last letters.

Great job on the IC Vincent! I restored one a while back and it is one of my favorite razors. I love everything about it and it’s an outstanding shaver. Here’s a picture of mine.

Nice one, Karl. Nice blade and scales pairing, looks awesome. I bet it's a sweet shaver, love the slight smile and the size/shape of the blade.
