I am pretty sure that Charlie can get pissed--but he probably just shoves it deep down inside so that he can save it for future use.

As well as being interested in the whole smelting process i think seeing how you made the inlay (turned out well BTW) would be fascinating.
Everything and anything. As long as you show something and explain why you are doing things in a certain way and how you are doing them, everything is good stuff.
To echo what others above have requested - videos that show how you go about creating new blades, either razors or knives. If I understand what you do correctly, you create your own steel and then forge that into sharp items. So, how you create your steel (unless you have a secret proprietary method which I think you do), how you forge, what type of kilns or ovens (sorry, not sure the correct term), how you shape, grind, polish, size and create scales, etc. It would be interesting and informative to those that like to know details of how something they use regularly is created from conception to completion.Quote:
Here is where I am asking for a little help. I will be changing my business a lot over the next few months. I am revamping my order and deliver policies as well as marketing and social media. To that end, I will be creating a YouTube channel. The YouTube videos will be focused on shop stuff.: equipment and techniques. I want to keep the videos short and informative. So my question is, what would you like to see?
Tim Z,
That razor is just stunning.
I think your videos will be well received. As long as they are informative and well produced you'll have a large audience.
Your work is outstanding.

Exactly. I have seen far too many of those and while they may be cool to watch, they don't teach you anything.
Why build a billet like that, how do you judge the temperature, how do you forge, why do you do this or choose that...
those are the things I am looking for. Just seeing a guy hit steel is not that useful.
It would be really nice to see how you grind your hollows, and finalize your bevels. For me at least :)
