Charlie; Your 'compliment' of my very first razor's grind after Ron had set the bevel to check the edge will never leave my memory, I loved it! I found it so astute but also so funny---

Sorry All------------It's a very private joke between Charlie and me--------
Very nice.
That’s a really sweet looking nod to the vintage Japanese razors, Roy.
Well done to the both of you!

Well done guys. :)
Anybody seeing this & about to make some scales should pay close attention to how thin Glen made those scales. This is to allow the tapered tang to flex the scales thru the range of movement. Along with a tapered wedge providing the optimal friction when open & no stress on the pivot when closed. Without those 2 factors you basically have a pocket knife with a pivot that will loosen up in no time.
Thank you :bow
Randy my friend--it was you who made me a YouTube Star! :roflmao:rofl2::w

Holy cow, that's a beauty!!! You both did an excellent job
Only just seeing this, lovely collaboration between Glen & Roy, I'm definitely seeing a lot of vintage Hoshi Tombo 6500 in that design, excellent looking razor and scales.
