Jnatcat: This set has one razor with hone wear and that is exactly what i would do with a 7 day set, use just one :)

I see the logic behind using one but I would choose to use them all and when honing I would use tape, I normally shave every other day and after shaving lately I have been doing 10-12 laps on a .5 CrOx pasted paddle strop and it seems to keep the edges going for me and also keeps hone wear in check.
