Klas Tornblom
I've owned this nice Klas Tornblom for a few years. It's always had an annoying amount of wiggle movement at the pivot which made stropping and honing awkward. Finally got around to pulling the razor apart to fix the wiggling pivot and in the process I snapped the scales. Fortunately I had some spare scales that fit ok. Used one of Euclids ideas and made some clear plastic thrust washers which don't tarnish and are difficult to see through the scales. Stupid me forgot to take some before pics but the razor had a flat satin finish. I thought it might look purty with a bit of shine so lots of hand sanding, buffing and Maas polish.

Nice work!
Do you know if those scales are acrylic or celluloid? I have some very similar looking material I've used.
