The blade was in good condition but the scales were very dry and some delamination at the edges. Soaked scales in neatsfoot oil for a few weeks then scraped and sanded. This made a big improvement but I soaked them for another couple weeks. Sanded and buffed them to finish. I put the blade to the buffer and finished with Maas. Collars from Austin.
