Heirloom Restoration Shadow Box
This setup is for the Rodgers wedge I restored a while ago. The razor has been passed down for three generations. The brush is restored, it's from the 50's and the mug is a recent addition for this collection. I made the box from red oak. The Plexiglas panel slides out for access to the interior.

That really looks nice, but it hurts my heart to see such a fine blade imprisoned in such a manner!

That's why I made the box front end accessible and the top hook turns to release the razor. This box was commissioned by a wife wanting to give her husband a special reminder from his grandfather. He currently sports a full beard. But this razor might tempt him as it is a great one.
