    Default My First Restoration:

This is kind of a "kit" restoration. It is a W.M Greaves and Sons Sheffield 6/8 Wedge. What did I do? I cleaned some rust and tarnish off of the blade, shined it up with mirco-mesh, honed a new edge on it and made it shave ready (had to take a large flea-bite out of it), pinned some DOVO Micarta scales to it and snapped the pic. I'm ready for my next adventure. I've been wanting to make some scales and have some Micarta and some exotic woods waiting for me.
