Default Joseph Rodgers and Sons 6/8 razor as new

Joseph Rodgers and Sons 6/8 razor. This razor started out as a wedge, and was reground to a heavy hollow by the factory(probably in 1870/90)It has the style and type of scales you find on the F.Reynolds concave ground razors from 1860/90.The scales are in excellent condition, and the blade is also in excellent condition, and retains the factory grind marks. The spine is worked from mid blade to the tip. The cutting edge is long 3.125.,and the blade is thick .290 It has jimps top and bottom, and a thumb rest. I did a light polish on the blade ,and honed,.It is as new,and gives excellent shaves.I am going to make another set of scales for it for regular use,and put it up for sale ,with both sets of scales

    Best Regards gary
