I found an old blade at a junk store, I liked it because it had the name of a late 1800s early 1900s Winston Salem steel company on it. I polished it, and made new scales out of a piece of an old oak shelving unit my wife threw out, and I kept planning to make things with the wood. I dropped the blade while I was polishing it and chipped it, so I ground the tip down past the chip. Now I have to regrind it, and hone it, and it will be a shaver.
