Well, it looks really good, congratulations. If it's a first attempt, it's a brilliant one.

Have you tried shaving with it ?

hi ,i apologize for my bad english language !!
No ,i have not tryed it , i finished it only yesterday, and it isn't the first attempt , i made another razor last year .
The first one dont make me completely satisfied , it shave , yes , but my others straight (solingen made) shave better , so i make another test with other shape and material.
This one is very thin at the adge (probably too much thin !!) , the first one was more like a 1/4 hollow.

But if it is possible, I wish I could see closer pics from the razor? How you made the hollow ground? What tools you usedl?

I am a simple hobbyst and my tools are simple , an economical bench grinder and belt grinder , a lot of files and sand paper of many grit.
I have access to a hardness tester and a freezer machine because i work in the automotive field , i can use the testing laboratory tools of my company were i am employed.
