Geneva rescale in Yellow Heart
Here's the second of three threads showing the practice rescale jobs my son and I did. This one, a Geneva Cutlery, cost me $5.00 and had scale rot amd heavy hone wear. My son and I rescalled it in Yellow Heart w/ an epxoy finish. Pins are silver nickle and washers are stainless steel. The daisy in the wedge pin is sterling silver. All we did to the blade was remove tarnish w/ MAAS and buff. Pics again by JrJoeD.

Thanked: 13226Gotta love the Yellowheart, fantastic looking wood...
BTW there is a way, short of a full regrind, to remove that honewear, or at least make it way less noticable...
PM me if yer interested...
PS: Can I just send my razors to yer son and have him do the pics for me

+1 Glen. That yellow heart really "pops". Great choice on this one.

Great job. Thought it was a wedge till I saw the 'pyramid'. Killer shaver I bet.
