Next up is a 13/16 custom with a tail I call "crocodile". Imo it looks totally like the tail of an alligator, some will agree, some don't, but I like it A good thing in this shape is that you can place two fingers comfortably on it, and this way it feels a bit different to handle than normal small tail razors.

I made a slightly bigger blade similar to this in the past, but there were some things I wanted to improve on the style, so this is the 2.0 version of it. I made the tail a bit thinner and longer, and the blade a bit smaller too. Now it is much lighter, but still has nice balance and heft to it. Scales are made from bocote and an african blackwood wedge, pins are nickel-silver with ss washers. The blade is mirror polished, the hollow has an 1200 grit finish, it is between a satin and mirror finish, looks similar to satin, has nice contrast, but doesn't rust that easily as satin finishes in general. Steel is good old O-1 at 61-62HRC, takes a fabulous edge, but it is easier to hone than you would think.

So here are the pictures, I am interested in your opinions, good and bad alike! Thanks for looking!
