Oldblades has a challenge that you might just like to take up:

Nice work by the way!
Always inspirational Max.
Even more so with the before pic.:bow
I know this is late, but I just started my first piece today (see WWII Henckels - opinions . . . ) and have been looking through the gallery. I must confess that you frigin nailed this with simplistic beauty. Man, I envision the owner of this piece to be driving a 1963 chevy corvette stingray convertable . . .
May I PM you for possible scales? I just cannot do them.
Thanks,
Alpsman
Great work! Great choice and Great keeper!!

Wonderful work and I love the pic with the dice reflected

Man… the difference between what it was and what it is now is amazing.
As usual, nice restore Max...
If its a convertible, great! TOB is dead on, your photo shot setup with the dice is dynamite. I have a Henckles 4/8's coming from Italy (not a 401) and I cannot wait to shave with it.
Also, the smiley blade restoration is coming alone nicely but slowly. I have decided not to rush this. I want all tensy tiny pits and blemishes gone prior to stepping up to 220 and onward.
Thanks!

Looking at the quality of the finished razor ,makes me wish I hung onto my own example. i have never seen one as neet as this one.Paul
