    Default Photos of my razors (finally got around to it :) )

    Hi All,

    I finally got around to taking some photos of my razors. The Dovo is my everyday shaver and the other two are in the "to be restored" state. After I decide how I want to go about restoring them (mostly still trying to read all the material on this site) and then gather the appropriate tools I will start on the restore process and post better before and after photos. But for now these will have to do.

    That Moon is a piece of work! I absolutely love the metal accents.
    When you restore the other, you should try to keep those scales. I don't think I've ever seen a brighter shade of yellow!

    btw... I'll totally keep scales and stuff, but first I need to learn how to go about removing them without cracking them or breaking them. [still looking for that in my research]

    The Genco is a terrific shaver! I have one and it surprises me with a great shave every time... provided that the thing is sharp and stropped correctly. I found that this particular razor will be quite harsh if you do a sloppy stropping... But it is a great razor - ugly, but good. And also very light... Love mine to bits. I'll never part with it! Thanks to the friend you gave it to me!
