    Default Theunissen rescaled

Got this awesome 8/8 full hollow worked back razor from LX Emergency. I didn't do any of my usual chop-shop stuff to it, just shined it up and gave it a new set of scales. Can't wait to give it a go!

I also happen to think it is a rebranded Dorko:

    Wow that is cool!

But I think the Dorkos are really rebranded Theunissens

Either way, it's a fantastic blade. They both are!

Are you sure? The Dorko looks newer and the work on the spine is not as intricate, leading me to think that the Dorko is just a copy of the other blade.

Dorko is a well known Solingen brand. Theunissen seems to be local to the Netherlands. I would surmise that the larger more well known brand made a re-branded razor for another outlet, rather than vice-versa. Especially as it says "made in Solingen" on the backside.

And I'd say that the spine work on the Theunissen is just not as flattened by grinding as the example shown in the Dorko pic. Same leaf and flower design though.

Very nice looking blade and it did give me a double take thinking of the Dorko.
