Kinfolks incorporated - wedge - blue pauacrylic
This is real American steel and company.
Russ Case of WR Case and Sons Cutlery, Tint Champlin of Cattaraugus Cutlery, and Dean J. Case founded Kinfolks inc. in 1926. In 1957 Kinfolks inc. was sold to Robeson Cutlery in Perry, NY.
The blade got a showroom condition service and was fitted with blue Pauacrylic scales which were requested. I kept the original scale design to a close match.
This one is going to the UK to join her Bowdins wedge lover.

They did, and yes, I'm in complete shock. The SatinWedge turned out wonderful and the WE goes without saying! I'm really liking the Bowdins, think I might try it out tomorrow.
You are a true artist my friend, and your dog is pretty cool as well!

Wow, what a striking blue color in the acrylic paua! I have to agree with maintaining the original scale design for the replacements -- excellent.

Wow, that blade looks gorgeous. How does it shave? I've never used a wedge but I have that identical razor at my house after getting it in an auction. I only have the straight-out-of-the-mail photo -- I've since cleaned it up a little but noticed a slight bend in the edge at the tip.
Eventually this is gonna be my first wedge.
