Thread: Ward Bros 5/8 T/shell marble acrylic

This poor old fella had broken scales & some deep pitting which I removed as much as possible. Lucky it was a pretty thick grind
The previous owners name had been etched in the blade also but that disappeared thru the cleanup.
I'll try & save the horn scales for myself but as this one's destined for eBay I thought I'd dress him up a bit.

I'm enjoying working with acrylic for a change & I thought this color would do him justice.
Gave him some brass thrust washers for a smooth pivot & simple pin & washers.
Kept the original pewter wedge.

Not familiar with Ward bros so if any one has any history, thanx in advance.

And yes ! Shaves like a Sheffield
