Thread: Gaines dressed in ivory again

I picked up this beauty a few weeks ago with broken ivory scales and created a thread yesterday asking for some info on the blade. http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...-any-info.html The thread has pics of the blade naked. I had another set of broken ivory scales from a Mappin and Webb I picked up a while ago and the opposite scale was broken. Well, I got lucky and the holes lined up! I had to reshape the replacement scale and put a small dip on the edge of the original scale closest to the blade for the shapes to match. So, without further ado here she is with the original silver spacer. Pins are nickel silver with a heavy peening on flat ss washes. Hope you enjoy,
