Thread: Wade&Butcher 5/8 barber notch mirror polished etched blade gun blued in black pearl

This is a sweet razor. it is a W&B 5/8 barber notch. The blade is etched Medium Sized Hollow Ground, although hollow ground is a liberal term, it is a near wedge. I gave the blade a mirror polish and then gun blued the tang and spine. I did a Torrey like this and loved the look.

The scales are a synthetic black lip pearl, wedge is frosted acrylic. Pins are 1/16 brass with a single brass washer. I did not want to do my usual brass over stainless because of the small size of the scales.

It is a super shaver but I have my sights set on something grand so it will find its way into the classifieds.
