    Default My second restore

Hi this is a Wade and Butcher 7/8ths, The Celebrated Fine India Steel razor. Scales are mahogany with a walnut spacer. Took me ages, but I am really pleased with the result! Left some pitting and discolouration on the blade as I didn't want to lose the acid etch.

    Crouching razor, hidden tang

I like the way the razor sits in those scales - a very unique design.

BTW, in that 3rd photo, I think your scuttle looks like a prison toilet...

    Holli knows from experience!

Your right though, it certainly does, and if that were the case that would be a 400mm knot in that brush!

To be honest the scales are a bit of a pain in the **** when using it, but I liked the design and thought it complemented the blade nicely.

Yes my scuttle IS a prison john, nothing keeps the water warm like fresh urine!
