    Thumbs up Heljestrand MK10 * Carbon Fiber/G10 | Red

A gorgeous in immaculate never used Heljestrand MK10. Wow. Don't see many of those in such an excellent condition. Nice and hefty razor.

The razor itself got dressed with a new Carbon Fiber/G10 combo. Basically this is a new material made of Carbon Fiber and layered with red G10. The same material also exists in blue. It's very hard to capture but it has some of that hologram effect and off course the Carbon Fiber patterned look.

The only request was that I use a very traditional scale design with straight/rounded corners. Since the Heljestrand does taper from the monkey tail towards the stabilizer (making for a wider tang width compared to the monkey tail) a third pin was needed in order the widen the scales so the blade could fit nicely between the scales.

SS and Nickel Silver hardware for the pins and washers. Tapered Granite Gray G10 wedge.

Enjoy and have a great WK

I quite like that scale material. The blue one might even tempt me away from horn, ivory & ebony on everything!
