A fellow turner who excels in segmenting blanks, glued upped these large harringbone blanks for me to turn. The large one has 60 pieces of Rosewood, Wenge and Maple with a 24mm UK silvertip knot. The Chubby has 40 pieces of Ebony, Wenge & maole with a 28mm silvertip. Thanks for looking and your comments.

Do you know how they hold up to normal use or are these the first segmented ones you have tried? I have had issues with segmented bowls that started separating after being around too much moisture and would be afraid of even using those for a similar reason ( but my shave area also does not have the greatest ventilation either ) in a normal use capacity.

These are the very first multi segmented handles with this many pieces. There is a tone of super glue holding the segments together, plus I put about 8 coats of finish over it. So they should provide many years of use.Quote:

I work building lathes and duplicators so I get to see a lot of different works.. but I gotta say I havent seen anything nearly as beautiful as those handles. GREAT work.. I love them.
