Segmented Shaving Brushes
A fellow turner who excels in segmenting blanks, glued upped these large harringbone blanks for me to turn. The large one has 60 pieces of Rosewood, Wenge and Maple with a 24mm UK silvertip knot. The Chubby has 40 pieces of Ebony, Wenge & maole with a 28mm silvertip. Thanks for looking and your comments.

Those are excellent and nice work.
Do you know how they hold up to normal use or are these the first segmented ones you have tried? I have had issues with segmented bowls that started separating after being around too much moisture and would be afraid of even using those for a similar reason ( but my shave area also does not have the greatest ventilation either ) in a normal use capacity.

Reminds me of rawhide & leather braiding .
2 big ups from meThe white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
