Default W&B 6/8 Hollow buffalo horn rescale

This one came in for new scales & honing but after a quick check with Luc it was agreed to give her a bit of a rev on the buffs. Shame about that pitting right in the centre but I've busted enough blades to know when to stop.
Scales are buff horn courtesy of Baldy... & ChrisL's freight service. Thanx guys
I opted for the smallest washers just to feature the scales which have a beautiful grain. There's an oily macro pic in there. I soaked the scales in neatsfoot oil for several days as there were a few tiny spots delaminating & I couldn't quite sand them all out. I think the soak helped as they buffed up nice & smooth.
Wedge is black acrylic & pivot has brass thrust washers as usual.
Neat razor ~ pinned up straight & easy. Look forward to honing & shave test.
Gratuitous balance shot included ... with respect to the G-man

The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
