Thanked: 132498/8 / Wade & Butcher / "Quicksilver"
This one full inch of beautiful Sheffield steel was sent to me by Brando, along with some pictures of some of his old Harley's for inspiration...
I polished out the blade first and got a near perfect mirror from toe to tail...
Then I started looking through color choices and found this Liquid Silver, well after that it started coming together in my head, I just needed to make it happen on the bench too...
The SS/Silver pins and washers were a given, but I wanted to try something different on the wedge...
I had found some silver sheet about 6 months ago, that I was planning on using for scale liners, but decided to use some of it on wedge liners for this razor...
Now that got a bit interesting as this wedge, and scales, were both acrylic, so I really had to watch against heat build up or all the work I had done would have melted... I used a 3 pin set up at the wedge, just for looks only, the razor was big enough, and heavy enough, to handle the lined wedge, and the three pins, and still manage to balance at the tang...
So here she is "the Quicksilver"...
