Default Wade & Butcher, For Barbers Use 17/16

Gotta say, I like these so much better than the "Celebrated" ones. They are just cleaner and more sleek looking. AWESOME!

I saved the original washers on this one by drilling them out. Blade got some work... got new black horn scales -- a perfect match to the originals. I cleared the imperfections in the horn blank with the owner before I used them. I think it looks cool, and obviously doesn't affect stability of the horn.

Replaced the lead wedge with flawless pearly white cow bone

A pleasure to restore..and hopefully it will be a pleasure to hone later tonight...and I can only assume a pleasure to shave with tomorrow morning!

That's great work. The washers were definitely worth saving. I see how you drilled them out, but I see there is still some of the mushroomed pin remaining, how do you go about safely popping them out after you've drilled them out?

Do you always use a 1/16th drill bit to drill the pins out or do you have to eyeball sometimes to look to see whether it's a bigger pin than 1/16th?
