Thread: K.C. Seelbach Seel Brand 13/16th's

This is my second Seelbach razor and sadly this one is not in near as good of shape as my first one. The blade it self is not too bad with very little hone wear but does have some pitting. The scales are a different story, the seller actually broke them while taking pictures so I managed to snag it with the only bid. Although I'm not done with it yet I wanted to atleast get this thread started. So what do you do with broken bolstered scales??? Acetone!!!! I'm thinking clear acrylic for this one. Now lets hope I don't make the mistake I made when I transplanted the bolsters on my DD Goldedge and put them on backwards. So here is where we are at the moment.....







Then about 10 minutes after I snapped those pictures and a little acetone bath....
