Very nice and subtle restore I like it :)

Nice tight work all the way through...
Some interesting details in there too, it looks like you domed the washers, good touch, and the rounded contour on the wood is exceptional...
Impressive work Ben-Jammin !!!!!
That is awesome. That is pretty close to what I would like to have done to my W&B. Great Job!
Thanks for all the compliments, guys. It's amazing how much I've learned in a year of restoration thanks to guys like Glen who are willing to share so much knowledge, and the tutelage of Lynn and others who have physically shown me how some of these things work.
Glen- The dapping set for the washers is what I was waiting on to do this set. I felt like my scales, blades have all crossed into a professional threshold, and it was silly to be losing aesthetic points for flat washers. Domed washers make a HUGE difference in the final product-- and are easier to pin!
I love making scales... and the contoured surfaces are done with files and rasps, by hand, so that I can get them exactly how I want them... I'm a perfectionist. :D
Love the shape of those. You've done a great job!
Very very nice !!!!
Everything about that razor is gorgeous. Nicely done!
Yup, that's very much to my taste and a high class job. I have a pair of black walnut scales waiting in the wings, and I'd be delighted in the unlikely event that they came out that well.
Beautiful work Ben!!
