Default W&B Faux Frameback in Ebony

A couple of months ago Ganboyi sent me a PM about rescaling a razor for him. He wanted something classic to go with the patina on the blade, and I had a lot of fun emailing back and forth with him as we figured out exactly the scales he wanted. It was neat having the feedback from him, but also high-pressure in the shop because he and I both knew exactly what he wanted!

Thick ebony, heavily profiled to feel organic in the hand (not a flat surface on them!) and a polished aluminum wedge. No surface film on these scales, just a lot of buffing and a little hard wax to protect them. The charcoal streaks in the black wood, coupled with the vintage shape, give these scales a really neat feel... like Sheffield "remixed." Anyway, I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
