    Default Cador (Paris) Suprême Diamant

I can't give you any interesting information about this rather superior full hollow - Google Cador Paris and you'll find a very nice patisserie, but no razors. It gives a good shave, much as you'd expect, and I hope my customer enjoys using it. On with the pics:

There wasn't a great deal wrong with it to start with, but the profile needed adjusting a trifle to get it back to something resembling a constant width.

This is the end of my dalliance with plastics for the time being, the Crown and Sword which I'm about to post here has seen to that.

    Nice.

Made my mind go back to the 1960's and my favorite bycycle that had a seat of that color.

With your skills you shouldn't have trouble with a box.

Great stuff. The scale shape really compliments the blade.

I see those scales and I want to sing "Starry Starry Night" by Don Mclean

Thanks for the comments, gents. This razor is now on its way back to its rightful owner, and I'm playing around with something completely different ...

Out of curiosity, when doing a restoration such as that did you make or buy new scales or just fancy up the old black ones shown in your last picture?

If so, what sort of techniques are used to give it such a great look? If they are in fact the old black ones, one would never know having not seen them.
