    Default W&B in Jade G10

This is a Wade & Butcher "The Celebrated Hollow Ground" Straight Razor measuring 13/16" at the widest point. It is a smiling 1/4-1/2 Hollow razor with a barber's notch.

The Razor had the words "The Celebrated Hollow Ground" with an arrow and cross etched on the blade before restoration. There was moderate to heavy pitting and I made the personal decision to remove the pitting (and hence the etching) to give a blade with a high mirror finish. The razor is in excellent condition and the only pitting that remains is near the tang stamp. The tang stamp was quite worn before restoration and I tried to preserve as much as possible. You can make out "Manufactured" and "Butcher" but there wasn't much I could do in this area to preserve.

The scales are custom made from Jade Ghost G10 and the wedge is black G10.

I really, really like this Jade G10 and will be using more of it in the future. I just hate cutting G10, but it sands quite easily to shape with a belt sander. I have a stack of W&B's to restore so I won't be keeping this one.
