My first restoration and rescale.
I finally pinned the razor, after having it on the table for a while. I decided not to give it a mirror finish. I'm too lazy to do it by hand plus the compounds I need are hard to get around here, but as soon as I get myself a rotary tool, I will rescale it again and give it a nice polish. Now I just wanna use it.:) The original scales were discolored and I broke one while unpinning :( The scales are beech finished in CA. Actually pretty proud of the finish. It took a while, but the CA kinda raises the wood grain and makes it look nicer. The scales are actually a bit darker, than on these pictures. So yeah :D

I discovered, there were plenty of very small pits under the patina on the blade.
